Hello… I’m Neil Bernhart, a southern California photographer who specializes in portrait and event photography. So very glad you’ve found my site and this blog. On this blog, I will post mostly my photo sessions with various clients, but I will also share my thoughts on news and topics related to photography.

Why do I not charge as much as most professionals?

This is not my main source of income; I pay the bills with a day-job.

I market this business mainly through word-of-mouth. And, I only take enough work to keep me busy without going crazy.

I don’t have an extremely extensive collection of gear; just the right equipment to get the best shots for my clients. This doesn’t mean that I skimp on quality gear. My bag contains only professional grade equipment and lenses.

I take pride in the quality of images I produce for my clients, and I always put 100% effort into delivering only the best.
